The responsibility of fathers is tremendous. As a father, it is very intimidating to think that my example is critical to shaping my daughter. I have a responsibility to reveal the love of God to her through my love. Clearly, I’m inadequate for this task. No matter how well I do at developing virtue, I cannot achieve the perfection of our infinitely loving and good Father in heaven. Despite all my inadequacies, the Father has still given my wonderful and amazing daughter to me to protect, teach and love.
